Carly Almasy

Interactive Designer and Developer


As an Interactive Designer and Developer for the Employment Tech Division, Carly has a multidisciplinary role assisting in creating products and web experiences that support Innovate+Educate’s mission and helps create experiences that inspire, engage, and excite the audiences Innovate+Educate reaches. She collaborates with the communication, research, project management, and leadership teams to support successful project executions.

A native of Michigan, Carly studied Film Production at Wayne State University in Detroit on a full academic scholarship where she was an honors student and two-time Moving Media Film Festival awardee. Carly moved to New Mexico in 2010 when she was selected to be a cohort for the AmeriCorps VISTA program Public Allies in Albuquerque. As a Public Ally, she served at several local community-based nonprofits in the areas of community outreach, graphic design, web design and development, and video production. After completing the Public Allies program, Carly attended the University of New Mexico and earned a Bachelor of University Studies in Digital Media and Marketing. Carly was a 2018 recipient of the Google Developer Challenge Scholarship for Udacity.
