Innovate+Educate has a long history with skills based hiring. In 2015, I+E was funded by the Hewlett Foundation to understand the value of skills assessments from employers. While the majority of employers used cognitive assessments (reading, math, and locating information) very few employers identified a soft skills assessment even if most of the employers indicated an acute need for soft skills across all jobs.

In January of 2017, I+E chose to deploy Core Score, a soft skills assessment that was built from a previously validated test bank and has been revalidated across multiple industries.
