NM Pathways is a custom-designed, regional implementation plan that has an effective, collaborative community of progress. It seeks to unify economic and workforce development around ensuring competency-based and soft skills training and credentials, and propel workers in multiple areas of employment tied to community needs. It positively impacts the area’s chronic deficits in the long-term, and creates retention and advancement through sustained economic mobility. This goal is achieved by the coordination of efforts of workforce, education, and employers to connect individuals seeking jobs to the appropriate training pathway and middle – and high – paying positions that remain unfilled within the region.
NM pathways leverages unique technologies, data, information tools, supported by navigators that will further employment success by increasing access to education, training, behavioral health and human service resources and knock down the barriers for both job seekers and employers.
