Jami Grindatto

Jami Grindatto is the CEO for OptiHealth Inc, a living support company for developmentally disabled citizens. His organization endeavors to enable the pursuit of happiness for every client in a culture-rich, safe, community-based environment. Prior to OptiHealth, Jami launched Sandoval Economic Alliance in 2014, a public/private economic development partnership with Sandoval County, the City of Rio Rancho, and numerous private businesses in the Albuquerque Metro area. His organization supported the creation of over 3,000 economic-base jobs in a short 3 years.

Jami retired from Intel Corporation in 2014 as Intel’s Global Talent Director, after a 20-year career in the F100 and high-tech world. Among many roles at Intel, Jami led the Software Architecture Design that automates Intel’s newest factories worldwide, was Director of the Americas for Intel® Solution Services for Sales and Marketing, and directed Corporate Affairs in the Southwestern U.S. – this included government and media relations, and education and community programs. Jami is a member of several regional and national executive boards, including co-founder and chairman emeritus for Innovate+Educate, a national industry collaborative of F500 companies to drive innovation in the U.S. workforce. He earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of New Mexico. Jami was born and raised in Switzerland and played professional basketball in Europe prior to coming to the United States – he’s made New Mexico his home since 1985. He and his wife Connie have 3 children: Missie, an animal scientist, Lucas, a culinary artist, and Joshua, a linguist – all three attended New Mexico universities and found jobs right here! They also ‘adopted’ 3 children, namely their wonderful daughters- and son-in-law, Lydia, Rachel and Charles. Jami enjoys the great outdoors of the Southwest- he and the boys like to hike, ski and camp, while the ladies compete at horse shows and prefer the amenities of their travel trailer or a fine hotel room for vacationing.
